My son and I played a round an a half this evening at our favorite eighteen basket disc golf course. I scored four over par and lost the round.
The highlight of the evening for me was throwing my disc a bit off my line on hole eight and yet having it fade perfectly to the left and park under the basket. Most any other disc in my bag might have turned and burned in the wind and ended on the riverbank or worse in the water.
The Blizzard Champion Boss seems to pretty constantly go short and dump to the left on me even when thrown hard or not on the correct angle. Now I'm worried about losing it though because it works so well on this hole.
Perhaps any stable disc would work on the backhand line in the wind but most tend to travel farther. I've had the most issues with the forehand line when the wind is blowing left to right as a right hand thrower. The river is to the right and if there is any headwind involved the disc loves to go high and skip off to the right over the path and into the water. An understable disc on a backhand throw will turn and burn and turn to the right over into the river too.
Here's a couple of pictures out on the river this evening:
The green disc is my Blizzard Champion Boss that is right next to the hole eight basket. (Its reminds me of throwing a Wiffle ball because it is so light.)
In other news Bitcoin is going up and I should be selling a few bit pennies if they ever get from point A to point B. I withdrew out of one exchange and they charged me about five dollars worth of Bitcoin for the transaction but only paid about a dollar for the miner fee. The transaction has been stuck for over sixteen hours now. Problems... problems, lol.
There is really not much you can do about these type of issues when using a centralized exchange. Some are better about it than others though. I think eventually the transaction will go through once things calm down a bit.
It would be nice as a business to actually use the fee charged to move the product. Charging someone five dollars for delivery yet shipping it out on the slow boat for a dollar would seem a bit shabby if you ask me. :D
Thanks for reading! I always value your support and comments. The pictures were taken by me with my Galaxy S9+. Text and graphics copyright lightsplasher & litesplasher.
