I played a couple of rounds of disc golf by myself today. It was at my favorite eighteen basket course. Neither round was all that good a score - I think I had a three over par and a five over par.
In the evening there were many people playing soccer on the fields and some people were having a picnic right by one of the baskets. When I talked to them they were nice enough to move. I was very concerned about hitting them because they were right where I usually land.
I don't mind people playing out in the soccer fields but it does seem to make it harder for me to score really well. Somehow it does change the way I throw when there is a lot of noise and yelling in the background.
I actually like the chance to try and focus with a lot of stuff happening. I think this just makes me a better player and more able to play in a variety of situations. It is good to be reminded of how I'm just out having fun too.
I also walked the puppy as usual and had the usual e-bike ride twice today (circa twenty miles total.)
I had someone come up to me very interested in my e-bike. I explained all about it and how much I have enjoyed it. At this point it would be very hard for me to go back to ridding a regular bike.
I ended up somehow getting a birdie from here:
I threw the disc on a hyzer line through the tree gap and it went into the basket. I did not expect that to happen, usually I can't make the gap and hit a tree by accident. It was nice to get it right from this distance.
