It was lightly frosty this morning. My son and I headed down to the disc golf course for a couple of rounds of eighteen holes. The river was looking really beautiful with little tendrils of fog rising up from the water. I almost ran right over to take a picture but I thought my son would not appreciate my doing so.
I had to settle with this picture taken as we were warming up:

It is a really nice thing about disc golf that it gets out out there in nature in all kinds of weather. There are wonderful opportunities to enjoy it.
We both played really well today and scored even on the first round and -1 on the second. It was interesting that we both had the same score on both rounds.
On the second round we were playing with three other people. They did not do as well but we all had fun.
Later this evening after I took the dog for a walk there were a couple of fawns eating the grass and flowers in the neighborhood. Here's a picture of one of them:
These animals like to come into the town when it gets colder. I think the grass and gardens are inviting and there are less carnivores around.
