I did a lot of yard work and mowed the lawn today. Other than that I was mostly resting for the league play tomorrow.
My son and I played a short nine hole at the local course with three discs. I was throwing my new Envy putter disc and a couple of distance drivers that I was not very used to.
I ran one long putt and almost made it in but ended up going a ways past the basket and I missed the come back putt. The colder air was making it just a but more difficult to putt with the more stable approach putter. If I had my usual putter with me I might have saved a few strokes. I am still really enjoying the new disc and getting a better feel for what types of throws it is going to be good for in my game.
I'm really looking forward to the league play tomorrow. It is a lot of fun and I'm doing a lot better than I thought I would.
