I rode my e-bike out to the eighteen basket disc golf course by the river and played a round by myself. I was headed towards a -2 score but kind of goofed around near the end and ended with an even score.
When I'm by myself I take a lot of extra throws and try some lines that I usually don't throw. I've been trying to learn my new Firebird disc more and using it where it would not be the best disc choice.
I ordered a couple more discs today, an MVP midrange and another Axiom Crave disc. I still have not got my lost straight flying Crave disc back so I ordered one a bit heavier and in a stable plastic. Hopefully it will fly more like the one that I lost.
We are headed out to NSRA again tomorrow, hopefully things will go well. The first rule when playing NSRA is: Always throw into the fairway.
The second rule is: Never throw into the rough.
I'm not sure which rule is more important - I will leave that up to the reader to determine.
If you can't abide by the first two rules at least try to observe the third one: Never give free blood donations to the bramble bushes.
In any case it is a really fun course if you can follow the rules, lol.
The river was down and the water was clear:
I looked around in the river for my lost discs but did not find them.
Thanks for reading! I always value your support and comments. The pictures were taken by me with my Galaxy S9+. Text and graphics copyright lightsplasher & litesplasher.
