The snow was still a bit of an issue for walking today so I stayed inside and just paced around the house. Doggie is understandably upset with me. The snow is melting so we should be back to the usual outdoor walk soon.
I'm back to my usual "workflow" and might have started up some of my old computer processes. It's kind of irresistible and a bit of a fun hobby, kind of like posting on social media to earn crypto.
I still can't get over the fire in Colorado. It's tough seeing all the places you grew up around be devastated so badly and I feel for all the people who lost so much.
Colorado was getting so hot and crowded back when I lived there. I was concerned at the time about the availability of water in the future and was craving green.
It feels nice to be back in the Pacific Northwest.
I had to get some of my currently inked fountain pens flowing again after the two week Colorado vaction:
Most every pen started writing fine after briefly running the nibs under running water. The cheapest pen just started writing perfectly with no issue. (Go figure, lol.)
The new Sheaffer pen that I got for Christmas doesn't write real well after coming back from Colorado. I think it might be the ink. It is a fun ink to write with that shows a lot of sparkle in different lighting but I seems to be stopping up the pen a bit. I might need to swap it out for a different ink at some point if it doesn't start flowing better.
Hopefully you all are enjoying your hobbies or whatever you are doing. Best wishes.
