I played an eighteen hole round of disc golf with my son and his friend. It was my home course and the weather was fine. Shortly after we were done with the round it started raining.
I lost the round with a +4 score. My son's friend won with at even and my son scored a +2.
I felt like my putting was improving just a bit but I've been struggling a bit with all the new discs in the bag. Additionally, I've been trying out some throws that I'm really not good at and they have not been working out so well. It is worth trying a few things to try to improve when you are just having fun and not as concerned with the score.
This week I'm going to try to focus on learning the new discs well and get comfortable with my putting game again. I've been having a lot of basket strikes and have been trying to get the nose of the putter up just a bit on my release. It seems to be helping.
The river is down back to close to the normal level:
All of the sand in the photo was well as where I took the picture was recently underwater.
