My friends and I played at a difficult eighteen-basket disc golf course today. We were having fun but the scores were not as good as usual.
I was having a lot of trouble with my putting and missed a lot of throws that I usually make. I didn't warm up at all and had not been playing for a few days. It does make a difference.
In general, I was playing well with my distance drives. I almost put my favorite distance driver into the lake but luckily it stabled up at the last minute and landed out of bounds. I reached back and looked up distracting myself with what I saw behind me and the throw came out with bad angle control. I'm getting much better about not making that mistake but when I am trying to throw it hard that can happen.
