I stayed around the house after taking a short walk this morning. It started raining in the afternoon and I did not have a lot to do.
I'm still gently working on my arm, and it feels like the range of motion is improving. It generally is pain free but I still can't lay on my right side for too long. It seems to take a long time to get over shoulder issues.
The next purchase might be some solar panels for the roof. I'm still not sure as yet if it is a good idea at this time. The roof will need to be replaced in another ten to fifteen years, and it costs a lot to remove solar panels to replace the roofing. At that point, there might be better panels to put back up as a replacement. It is always tough to know when the best time to make such an investment is.
Helping with the generation of clean, renuable power feels good. I think that is a primary concern now, and you never know what electricity is going to cost if we don't transition away from increasing scarce fossil fuel resourses.
If the dollar goes down in value, I might not be able to afford new solar panels. Decisions, decisions...
