I played a couple of easy nine-basket practice rounds of disc golf today. Not that many people were down at the park. I was throwing well and trying out my new distance driver.
The new distance driver is a Dismania DD. It is an eleven speed disc with a -3 turn and 6 glide. I wasn't seeing the -3 turn. It seemed a lot more stable than that. I would rate it at a -1 with my arm speed. This might be because of the 173 gram weight and brand new plastic. I generally like to throw a bit less heavy a disc for a distance driver.
It has a really nice graphic on it so I decided to display it on the shelf for a while since I have a lot of discs that fly in the same way that are beat in a bit more. I might use it in the bag if I lose a disc or two or they get too understable.
The solar panels put out 12.3 kWhs today. It was mostly sunny with a bit of clouds at times. It makes me happy to see them working. Transportation, heating, lighting, and a host of other things are all paid for now. Inflation can do what it usually does, I don't mind.
