Rainy, rainy, sleepy, sleepy... I think I slept close to ten hours today with all the napping. I suppose that is one advantage of a person of my age. I get to sleep as much as I want, lol.
One of my friends was talking about going out and playing disc golf. That sounded a bit like not so much fun for me because of the rain. I hope he had fun.
I decided to do the full Costco experience and play dodge carts and cars with the other shoppers. It was fun but I do like shopping in less busy days. I wanted to see if they still had some Zippo hand warmers, but they were all sold out. My friend showed me a nice one that he bought there when we were out playing Disc Golf yesterday.
The seasonal plant:
These plants seem to find their way into the house this time of year. I do appreciate the gesture, but I can't seem to ever get them to flower again. Their flowers fall off, and the leaves get smaller and smaller. I have an elderly version that looks rather bare. Maybe this year, I will plant it out in the yard in the spring. Perhaps it will survive if it is next to the house.
I suppose the point is to really appreciate the flower for what it is in the moment.
