I cleaned up the yard a bit today and washed the car. The tomatoe plant had died in the last snow storm, so I put that in the recycle bin. That plant sprang up on its own and produced many really good tomatoes. It lasted really well up against the house.
I started trimming the blackberries, too. That's going to take some more work. It's nice to have the berries, and I am still eating some frozen berries from last season, so keeping them trimmed is worth the effort.
The car is looking really nice and I love the way it drives. I tried to talk the neighbor into getting an electric vehicle, but they are still hesitant. I think it is a great way to get around and once the new battery technogy becomes available I think electric cars will be even better.
These flowers were just about ready to open yesterday:
They are some of the first flowers to open in the season.
