Okay, the festive season is over! It's time to shed off those kilograms from the system 🤣
The one addictive thing about Chinese New Year is the Battle gifting cookies ! 😅
Sometimes you gave no idea how much they are until you unload gift packs from all the gift exchanges from house visiting.
(Red packets 🧧 is just one of them, it is considered rude not to bring gift packs / Hampers of food while house visiting)
Although it I'd becoming more and more common that people start to switch gift packs into "Healthier but fancier" versions like Essence of Chicken or even Bird's Nest, however tiny tubs of home made cookies are still very common especially from Baby Boomers generation.
I have already started switching to repack sugar-free snacks as gifts, but the cookies kept coming 🤣
Actually some of them are actually quite nice, especially the green pea cookies!
Who would have thought green peas can be made into cookies??
(It isn't too sweet, but that's sugar in it)
So, in post festive season, it is time to restart my body again with exercise, because the one bad thing about sweet snacks, it makes my body grow "lazy"
And once that happens, everything slows down and the pounds and kilos will keep piling!
In order to curb it, I have decided to make this as an every night routine when I need to boil a jug of water to put in the hot water bag, and while it takes a good few minutes to boil, I could do my weighted hoola hoop and I have counted that by the time it is ready, I could hit 1000 swings.
I forgot to take a picture and measure my waist as I have started 2 nights ago, so tonight I must remember to take measurement and the keep track on it.
It's already 2 days and I can feel my belly muscle area is cringing with exhaustion. 😅
But I already gained at least an inch waistband 😱 and we still need to help settle all the cookies as they do not have preservatives
🙏🏼 by a week's time my body will get back to its routine without back aches 😅
Will I be able to achieve this?
