There is something incredibly motivating about beating your own records two days in a row. After yesterday's success, I wasn't sure if I’d have the same energy today, Wednesday, May 13th. However, the fresh air and a bit of nature-watching proved to be exactly what I needed to push even further, reaching 13,214 steps.
While walking through the local green spaces, I spotted a feathered friend standing tall in the grass, as seen in photo. Watching wildlife while getting my steps in makes the whole experience feel less like exercise and more like a peaceful retreat from the digital world. It’s these quiet moments just me, the grass, and the occasional bird that remind me why I started this fitness journey in the first place.
Consistency is the Secret Sauce.
Looking at my Actifit dashboard today, I can see a massive spike of activity during the late morning hours, with several points hitting over 1,000 steps per interval. This burst of movement really set the tone for the rest of my day. My current AFIT token balance has reached 20,773, and seeing that number grow alongside my physical stamina is a great double win.
I've also been paying more attention to my User Rank, which currently stands at 38.27. It’s a slow climb, but every step counts toward building that community presence. As I mentioned in a previous discussion with my friend , finding a community that supports your health goals makes it so much easier to stay on track.
The Mental Boost of Outdoor Walking.
Walking 13,000 steps isn't just a physical achievement; it’s a mental one. By the time I reached the midpoint of my walk, any stress from the morning had completely vanished. There is a specific clarity that comes with a long walk in the sun. The photo in perfectly captures that feeling of wide open space and the simplicity of nature.
Looking Forward.
With two days of high activity behind me, my goal for the rest of the week is to maintain this momentum without overworking myself. Recovery is just as important as the activity itself! To everyone in the Actifit and Hive community I hope you’re finding your own mural foxes or park birds to keep you company on your journeys.
