On a quiet Sunday, I wanted to rest. The doctor prescribed me a morphine-based treatment for the pain side effects of radiation therapy. This makes me really exhausted at night. I have a lot of trouble staying awake in front of television. I can’t do treadmills, I can’t keep up. I’m finishing radiation this Wednesday. As a bonus, I’m going to have the joy of having a back massage and a foot reflexology session. What a relaxing experience. Then I have to see the surgeon in early July. We’ll know more about the effectiveness of the treatment.
