Hello everyone,
After the muggy heat, we of course had T-storms during the night and most of the day. Some strikes were so close and loud that even Genepi, who is generally not bothered by thunder, was a bit worried and followed me around even more than usual. For our walks, we tried to avoid the rain as much as possible but it was a good decision to wear rain gear... While walking in the neighborhood to check on the trees fallen during the storms, I found the same flowers from the yard but much paler, almost white. I wonder if they exist in many colors.
During one of our evening walks, with the rain and dusk almost there, I knew we wouldn't find anybody, so Genepi was off-leash. Of course, he chased deers. He came back maybe 10 minutes later, all wet and so tired I had to pull him back to the house. He barely moved for hours after that and the house now smells like wet dog...
In the meantime, Le Chat decided the clean laundry was too clean and needed some hair. They all assume their own role to keep the house a mess. I like it!
Anyways, it was a good active day with almost 24k actifit steps.
