Hey Actifitters,
Finally a post for yesterday's activity a little earlier, still late but it's better... if I hadn't been so slow to post it, it could have been my #WednesdayWalk.
We kept the trend of visiting nice places close from home for nice walks with the dog. This time, we drove a little bit to reach a small village up the nearby hills. After parking in front of the usual church, we started going downhill through these very narrow and steep alleyways.
Down the stairs, a great view on this viaduct opened up. You can also see vineyards. In this region (world renowned Cotes du Rhone), any small plot of land can be used to grow grapes for wines.
We kept going to reach the viaduct and cross it.
Under it, a small water stream
And horses and donkeys enjoying the green grass
On one side, a view on the village. If you look closely, you can see the stairs from the beginning.
And on the other side, my favorite of course, another view of the snowy peaks of the Alps, as you can see on the cover picture and a couple ones below.
I'm really bad at figuring these things out, but I'm pretty sure this one is the 'Mont Blanc', the highest peak in Europe.
We then reached these old factories which I believe were silk factories many years ago.
And this post wouldn't be complete with one last picture of berries we found along the way.
Finally, I also went for a run just before the 6pm curfew. Just a little over 4 miles to finish the day's activities.
Thanks again for stopping by, sorry for all the pictures, I might have overdone it...
Take care!
