After all the sunny days we had last week, on Monday, we were back to the gloomy fall weather and the work week routine.
When we started our main walk of the day, dusk was getting close.
No need to try and catch the sunset, so we just went straight to the forest, before it got really too dark.
Even on leash, Kaia was trying to chase a couple of deer whose scent she caught. So I had to put her in a long down/stay. Her face looked like she was begging "Come on, let me chase them!"
We saw more deer later on the way back. By then Kaia had understood it was useless trying to convince me. But that deer for sure stared at us.
That tree is trying to resist, and keep its leaves!
Definitely less exciting than the previous day hike, but our walk was nice to close the day, and escape the routine.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
