Hey Actifitters,
I had a morning eye exam appointment yesterday. On the way back, I thought I'd get my car serviced before the real winter arrives. Since the garage was really close to the eye doctor office, it made sense. Turned out there was more work to be done on the car than I thought, and the wait was very long. Luckily the weather was great, cold and sunny! So I decided to go on an impromptu walk. The blue color of the sky was just amazing.
I had to follow and cross a few bigger roads. People probably thought I was a crazy person. They're not used to see people walking, especially when it's about 20F (about -7C).
But there were also some nice views that I didn't really expect in this area.
A few big clouds tried to hide the sun, but it didn't last long.
In the end, I walked a few miles, and it made the long wait go very fast. I'm sure it was a different story at home. When I finally got back, Le Chat was waiting for me at the door, and went in immediately. It's possible she realized cold and snow weather is a young cat game!
Kaia just had that face that meant 'how could you leave me alone so long?...'
To reward her patience, we went for an extra long walk to the forest later.
If I didn't know it was Kaia, this view would probably scare me...
Like I already mentioned, now the visibility in the forest stays good even long after nightfall. So we could extend our walk as much as Kaia wanted.
And again, just before leaving the forest, a quick stop near this courageous tree. Should we start taking bets on when it will finally lose its leaves?
In the end, it was a much more active day than it was supposed to be. As a bonus I cleared the bar for #poprzeczka ! This time, I really think it could be the last time this month though. But we'll see.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
