Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday again Le Chat spent lots of time in the yard eating grass. Not sure her reason for doing that, but I like how she looks in the second photo when she realizes somebody's looking at her: "What??..."
It wasn't as early as I wanted but at least we still had time before the sunset when we started our daily long walk.
We missed her the day before but this time Le Chat made sure to join and get cuddles from her sister.
Even though the air quality has been much better, I could see it was still hazy. I guess the Canadian wildfires are still going on. So we went to check the sunset near the golf course. Yep, another purple haze sunset!
But it started disappearing quickly. Not behind the trees, but simply because the clouds became thicker.
Less than a minute and it was gone! I was glad we caught another hazy sunset but kind of disappointed I couldn't snap a few more photos at a couple more of my favorite viewpoints.
Once again we went to the forest next. Kaia wouldn't be happy without some real off-leash time.
As often, her exploration defined our route, there's not that many choices on the trails of our little forest anyways.
Until it was time to walk back home.
I didn't want to miss the full Strawberry Moon, it's an especially rare one this month. As predicted, it was quite low on the horizon and trees were in the way.
We had to go for another short walk to find an open view. Worth it!
And that was it for the day's activities. Not a great step count day. Except for our daily walk of course, I didn't have much motivation for anything else. Hopefully I can do better, but heat is in the forecast and like I said many times, I hate it!
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
