Hey Actifitters,
Since we're just back from a trip, we didn't have much planned for the weekend, mostly catching up, cleaning up and maybe preparing the yard for winter. Of course, we didn't skip our long daily walk, starting first behind the front yard.
Kaia wanted to go deep in the small forest.
And as much as she wanted to hang out with her sister, it was too much effort for Le Chat. She just stayed there observing.
We left her there when we headed to the bigger forest.
I'm probably repeating myself, but I'm still amazed at how much fall colors we have left in our forest. It's still beautiful, almost mid-November!
Kaia has some extra energy from her few days at the pet resort, she was all over the place!
We took our time to visit most trails in the forest, including near the teepees. It's in an area where most leaves are gone already, so different from the colors in other parts of the forest.
We followed the edge for a bit, where they just repaved the street. They took down some trees, but luckily not too many.
And as often, Kaia led us out of the forest and back home.
That was a pretty good walk, and combined with a little bit of work at home (no yard work though, not enough time, and too little motivation), it's a decent step count. Let's see how Sunday goes now, possibly our first snowflakes of the season, yay!!
