At six thirty-six, the alarm went off.
Rain, rain, and more rain fell on this day like every other.
Although the weather was not my preference, there was regrettably little I could do about it.
I had eaten a modest breakfast, hurriedly changed into my clothing, and bathed before it was time to drive to work.
Even though it was just 7:15 a.m., the sun will rise in a short while.
Well sun I would see very little today.
The rain lashed against the windows and the wind howled around the school.
I did the first few tasks of the day on my laptop.
Just a quiet start before the kids came in.
A cheerful and animated group of kids entered the classroom around 8:30 a.m.
Luckily, they were still in a cheerful attitude despite the rain.
We started the day with everyday things.
And Monday's steady rhythm continued steadily.
There was no sign of the bad weather outside at this point.
I could tell that everyone was giving it their all and was working really hard.
The toddlers used a string of beads to improve their hand-eye coordination. Wonderful creations emerged.
Normally we always go outside to play in the morning and after lunch, but due to the rain that was not possible today.
So we stayed inside and the children entertained themselves with Lego.
Houses, airplanes and other beautiful creations were built.
Although the kids had a great time, I noticed that they were a little busier than usual because of the rain.
They couldn't get rid of their energy and that had an unwanted effect on me as well. I had trouble concentrating and my head seemed to spin.
At the end of the day, when I went home, it was finally dry.
I felt better after being outside and was craving something hot to eat.
Arriving home, I made a delicious chicken breast in paprika cream sauce with green beans and potatoes.
After dinner it was time to relax.
I ran my bathtub full of delicious hot water and bath foam.
The perfect way to clear my head and release the stress of the day.
With difficulty, I had achieved my minimum steps today: 5365.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a dry day so the kids and I can expend our energy outside and soak up the fresh air.
After all, what could be more fun than running and playing in the sun?
Wishing you all the best in life and much health.
