Happy Easter !!
It was a different Sunday and Easter in general. Our friends from Valencia city visited us and we went for a nice all-afternoon walk. The weather was not so sunny, even we received some rain...for a few minutes. But it was ok. We had a great company, that is for sure. This couple, I have mentioned before in some of the posts, are veterinarians. And plant lovers.
They are good connoisseurs of plants that grow wild, and which can be used in the diet. So we gathered a whole bunch of chard, asparagus, dill. We also saw succulents, from which we picked small twigs and I brought them home to plant.
We saw lavender, roses, and some flowers that I forgot the name they told me.
I have this at home, but with leaves with orange edges. This was more red than orange coloured. And it has red flowers.
Strolling and smelling the wonderful scent of orange blossoms, we passed a huge fig tree.
It's already full of green leaves...what a difference in a few days. And if it’s not the same tree in question that I saw a couple of days ago, still, this was a surprise.
These are mimosa trees. They cross the fence and are full of yellow flowers.
But we didn't just see the plants. Oh yes, there was petting of cats and dogs. However, some were behind the fence, so the cuddling was not successful.
Those on the streets were so accessible. This one purred so loudly.
Those two dogies were nice too. Friendly looks, but yes, the fence...
The horses we saw also paid us a little attention, they gave us a few glances .... and the white one peeked out because his door was a little open.
Anyway, this was an interesting day spent with great friends. :-)))
