Good evening everyone, how are you all? Today has been a bit busier than other days. I had to go out a few times since morning for various small tasks. Although I didn't think I would walk so much today, I was surprised at the end of the day when I saw the calculation. I walked slowly and completed a total of 7200 steps today. Which is a lot more than yesterday and I think there is a lot more to come.
The morning atmosphere here was quite beautiful today. The light breeze and quiet streets seemed perfect for walking. After spending some time outside, my mind also becomes much lighter. Sometimes we don't realize that a little walk also has a good effect on our mental state. Today reminded me of that again.
I had some personal work around noon. Most of the steps today were completed while going from one place to another. I didn't actually know that you could count steps like this. Although I felt tired at times, one thing I liked was that I didn't feel lazy at all throughout the day. Nowadays, most people spend a long time sitting. So I think it is really necessary to walk a little during the day.
I understand something interesting after using Actifit. Before, I would never notice how much I was walking. But now, when I see the report at the end of the day, I feel good about myself. Because now I can see live how much I have walked throughout the day. Even if it is a small number, it hides a calculation of the day's effort and time.
Today's 7200 steps may not be a big deal, but the real thing is to move forward a little bit every day. I am trying to better integrate the habit of walking into my daily life. Because it is not always necessary to be healthy, small good habits can also make a big difference.
