According to Statista there are over 10000 cryptocurrencies as of February 2022 and a lot of voices around those numbers say that not all of them are necessary. Hive on the other hand justifies its legitimacy through its censorship resistence. Just today maybe not facebook itself but community/group founders/admins censored my post, discussed it and put it back on track.

So what do you think about all this? There are a lot of different dApps built on Hive but did you know that the social media side of Hive is censorship resistant? Do you make use of this function or have you ever had problems of being censored on non-blockchain based social media like tiktok, instagram, facebook, workplace or twitter? With CBDCs this will be an important issue in the future:
