Although not eating any bread (bc of carbs) or pastries (bc of refined sugar) I observe shops in Vienna closing and opening. It's significant that more bakeries are closing forever than open anew and in case they do they need an unusual business model like Felzl in the ninth district:
They indeed did their market research, they understood that bakeries are superfluous and that usual business models have no future. Some call it a shame not being able to buy groceries at night in a metropolis city like Vienna village. In this area of the ninth district there's only a fast food corner and 6 years ago I ate their bread cause I was so hungry I got sick for a week. I'm sure Felzl has cleared the path for its business model, people will prefer bread from a bakery now that there's this bakery automat than from the fastfood corner, one step towards business survival, what do you think?
