I visited a friend today who was working in consulting but specialized more into accounting. The corporate consulting world is cruel and looks sadly matter more than competence, loyalty and commitment. I'm happy I'm independent noe both as consultant and researcher, academia has also it's hidden cruelties and we'll see how close I will return to the academic ivory towers, definitely not without a little surprise from my side 😛
