Started to create a little scifi short story today, sadly the sing on IG is currently unavailable so I post the link here:
As they stood facing each other, their hands tightly interlocked, they knew that this was the last time they would see each other. The world they had once known was crumbling around them, and they were about to embark on a journey into the unknown.
As they gazed into each other's eyes, it was impossible to tell whether the emotions they were feeling were borne of love or friendship. But as they held on to each other the closeness of their embrace made the distinction irrelevant.
"When you hugged me," one of them whispered, "your black beard was rubbing against mine."
The words hung in the air, loaded with meaning. It was a memory they would both carry with them, a reminder of the bond they shared.
As they finally let go of each other, the weight of what was about to come settled heavily on their shoulders. But they knew that they would carry each other in their hearts, no matter what the future held.
