A Tawny Frogmouth bird on my morning run. It was hard to see and was well camouflaged in the low light and against the trees, it was only for the fact that it was sitting on a white post and it blinded it's eyes as I ran past that caught my attention. Otherwise, I would have completely. missed it.
I think this bird is only found in Australia. This one was about 30 centimetres tall. They look like owls but are not related.
The morning sunrise was a bit gloomy, and we got some rain while I was at work.
As well as getting rained on during our afternoon stroll.
