Petronas Twin tower
We only had one day spare to visit the middle capital city of Malaysia. parkrun had us staying out of town. We organised for the hotel reception to get us a grab. It was a pretty quick trip into town, but being a public holiday long weekend in Malaysia for deepavali meant the city centre was very busy, to say the least.
Petronas Tower was impressive and was the gardens and fountains nearby.
Kulumpa lumpur has a free tourist bus, but it was hard working getting on, just so busy. We took the bus down to Bukit Bintang and all high fashion shops to rival New York and Singapore.
We decided to walk to China town and the central markets, which was probably quicker than the free bus, but we need to get into some of the shops air-conditioned halfway to cool down.
The china town markets were busy as well and just as we decided to head back to over accommodation and call it a day a monsoonal thunderstorm hit we hid in a bus stop and under a bridge until our ride could find us.
Chinatown
Central markets
Deepavali
Fitness wise, it was a morning run, and a lot of tourist walking
