The famous quote narrated in our local language is if there is pardise on earth it is this, it is this and it is thisthis Kashmir. First of all i would like to drag your kind attention towards my state Kashmir? Where it is located and how beautiful it is? Let's put some light upon this..

Where is Kashmir located?

Kashmir is also known as Kashmeer, actually these are combination of two terms Kash and Meer the valley surrounded by the hills and mountains of northern himalayas, some times it is known as the crown 👑 of India, because it is located on the top of the Indian map. There are three divisions of jammu and Kashmir state which are Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. Now Jandk is know as union territory of India after scrapping of article 360 the special status of Jammu and Kashmir and 35A. The word Kashmir is actually derived from sanskrit word Kashmira which means water. .

Tourism of Kashmir

Kashmir is famous for its hospitality, manners and their welcome for tourists. There are so many tourists places which I would like to recommend you guys to visit once which are:-
Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Dal lake, Peer ki Gali Shopian and also Kashmir valley, Sindh valley, Lidder valley etc. There is also some holy places like Mata vaishno devi which is located in Jammu division and Amarnath yatra the shivling which is located in Pahalgam have good impact in states economy.

Snowfall and living resistance

As you all know the higher we go the cooler it is, so Kashmir is located in the Himalayan region and there is snowfall in quantity and varies from one location to another. Being local it is not easy to stay here without winter preparations like warm clothes, shoes with minimum -10 degree resistance for good survival, and also you need to reserve eating stock. There are some hectics during snowfall like transportation, freezed water tanks deficiency of oxygen etc.
But by support and cooperation from Govt from last couple of years there is now available imported snow cutters, JCBs etc which are easily making the roadways. This facility boosts and attracts the tourism through out the world to Kashmir and boosted the state economy.

Do's and Dont's

If you are the tourist you have to do the things right. Special room bookings with AC or other heating facility.
There is no fear for tourists in Kashmir and should explore the Kashmir where you want to go.
Do not come with warm clothes because there is availability of -10 degree clothes at fair rates.
visit Gulmarg, sonmarg and do sking, skating and Gondola ride there which more special.
Do not go beyond the hilly areas without the govt permission and guide other wise you feel guilty.
Do not take cold water otherwise it will be dangerous.

Being a villager

Two months December and January are harsh there. Yesterday the weather man of jandk Sonam Lotus predicted there is heavy snow fall, avalanches and land sliding etc. These pictures are current I think prediction gonna right. Currently I am studying in 5 kms away from my village but it is not easy to attend classes today 😂.
