Today was a great day and I managed to hit 17k steps.
The highlight of the day was going to the Australian Museum in Sydney.
The museum has recently undergone a massive refurbishment, and more than half the exhibits were open.
First up was a photography display the photos were amazing, I just wish I could take photos that good.
Then we visited the first nations section which focuses on aboriginal and Torres strait islander culture. These cultures are some of the oldest in the world with fossils recovered thought to be 50,000 years old. The photo shows the variety of spears once used for hunting.
Then off to the animal display with all the classics like elephants, giraffes, and a large blue whale skeleton hanging from the roof.
We then ventured into the dinosaur section a favourite among the children.
That concluded our visit to the museum, and the best thing was it was free.
After that we walked to the city for lunch. We walked past St Mary's Cathedral and through Hyde Park.
What a tiring day, but we'll worth it.
