A crisp and cloudy, but not particularly cold morning with little wind. Today we went for another walk around Mierendorff Island, doing the usual breathing and meditation exercises at the usual spots along the shore on the northern part of the island. The dilapidated wooden deck at the southeastern corner of the island has now been completely rebuilt and will likely be officially inspected and reopened in the coming days. While I sat by the water for a while, letting my thoughts wander, I was visited by a mother duck with a whole brood of ducklings. Of course, I brought them back for you.

Ein frischer und bewölkter, aber nicht wirklich kalter Morgen ohne viel Wind. Die Mierendorffinselumrundung war heute wieder dran mit den üblichen Atem- und Meditationsübungen an den ebenso üblichen Stellen am Ufer am nördlichen Teil der Insel. Die marode Holzterrasse an der südöstlichen Ecke der Insel ist mittlerweile fertig neu hergestellt und wird dann wohl die Tage offiziell abgenommen und wiedereröffnet werden. Während ich daneben auch noch ein Weilchen am Wasser saß und die Gedanken schweifen ließ, bekam ich Besuch von einer Entenmama mit einem ganzen Kindergarten an Küken. Die hab ich euch natürlich mitgebracht.
