Today i did some work regarding my orchards. I did spray of insecticides because apples were seen some kind of infection.
Not everyone's orchards had got that kind of pests but everyone did it as prevention its said that prevention is better than cure.
After finished my work i then came home and was seeing some old pictures of the heaven on earth, Kashmir.
This is the old Kashmiri kitchen which is made of mud . It is the picture taken in 1900 approximately.
In this picture, a lady is seen to have a kattal like something in hands that is call "Samawar". Samawar is made of copper and is very heavy. It has a chimney type thing in it and coal is been putted in it which helps to make tea in it. Tea has a special area in it. We just have to put dry tea, milk, sugar for sugar tea also used salt for other tea called Noon Chai. Noon chai is most famous in Kashmir.
This is an outside of very old house. Instead of having steelroof, at that time , the roof was made of grass. In this pic, it is 3 storey building. In that time, if these houses had nothing better interior or outside but had peace of mind.
This kind of home is made up of wood. They were rare because of expensive at that time.
So this is my todays post hope you like it. I will share more tomorrow if i think is necessary.
