This day's steps were mostly the result of a dead car battery. We had stooped at the mall in the morning and the car would not restart. It had been showing odd symptoms on automatic restarts for the last week (i.e. all the lights on the dash would come on which isn't normal). The dealer supposedly tested it and said it was fine.
Anyway, to get the car restarted we walked across the street and overpaid for one of those jumpstarters. Really, it was a walk across to the other side of the mall, then across the parking lot, then to the other end of the strip mall Best Buy was part of, hence the steps.
The jumpstarter worked fine and we took the car elsewhere to replace the battery.
Like most of these posts, my photo doesn't really match. This photo is from the Space Coast Renaissance Fair a few weeks ago. I had lots of steps that day too but didn't post at the time. On this day a cold front passed through. There was absolutely no rain but there were wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour which wrecked many of the tents. The temp also dropped about 40 degrees over the next several hours.
