Arsenal is leading the pack. No other team with these many points at this stage of the season has not won the cup. That’s not an easy pressure to hold. Things can change and records can always be broken. If Arteta does not want to be the first manager to register the new record of not winning the league from there, he may want to focus on the next three matches.
Arsenal is playing three top EPL teams next. Newcastle United is their next opponent who are in great touch and now sitting at number 3 spot after ManCity. The new money they have and the new found confidence will surely test Arsenal.
The next game for Arsenal is against Spurs who are at number 4. The team is so unpredictable as they are always known for. Arteta does not want Spurs to be in their great form when they face Arsenal. Arsenal will then face a resurgent Manchester United side under ETH. ETH has instilled discipline and they are over the Ronaldo phase. That should make the match much more interesting for neutrals like me. Let’s see how Arteta will handle the United side.
If Arsenal manages to not lose 3 points and win a couple out of three, that will be a great success for them. Let’s see how the games play out.
