The 25 years old Japanese international is creating a wave in the EPL this season. The Brighton striker scored a last minute winner against Liverpool in the FA cup. Brighton advanced to the next round after Mitoma scored that wonderful volley, breaking the tie. That’s not the only match where he scored.
The player has been instrumental in Brighton’s wins this season. He is efficient, a good dribbler of the ball and very precise with his ball hitting techniques. Mitoma comes from Japan and he is being lauded by everyone how he chose school over a professional football career in Japan. He went to University where he wrote a thesis on dribbling. That is super impressive. A technical professional altogether. I think the thesis is coming in handy for him and Brighton this season in the league. Brighton is doing great and may push for the Champions league position this season if they continue the form they are in.
Mitoma will have a huge role to play if that happens.
