I’m an early riser, so I spent an hour watching 100s of surfers trying to catch the perfect wave before the family woke up in the hotel room.
It was a 1000 step walk to the end of the Pismo Beach Pier from the hotel room, and I walked up and down the pier watching all the surfers.
I counted 150 surfers on the north side of the pier, and counted no less than 100 surfers on the south side of the pier.
The boys and I walked back to the pier after checking out of the hotel room this morning.
All of today’s steps were accumulated at Pismo Beach, and now I’m resting my ass back at home base.
