So the next door neighbor said he was going to have another yard sale today, so when I watched him drive off with yard sale signs I decided to prepare to setup a smaller yard sale.
A neighbor two houses down and across the street was having a yard sale, so I walked down to take a look.
As soon as I started looking at a huge lot of bicycle tires, they told me that I could have all the new old stock tires for $25. When I said I was interested in the tires he offered 4 bicycles and all the tires for $45.
He was extremely aggressive and pushy, but entertaining at the same time. I was still thinking about it and he put his hand out to shake my hand. I finally accepted his offer and I began to haul tires back to my house.
They man and two young girls walked the bikes down and they ended up buying some of my stuff.
I ended up selling 4 tires for $8, and I almost sold the 26" cruiser for $45.
I adjusted the saddle, seatpost and handlebars, and I cruised around downtown this evening.
So my neighbor walked down to the same yardsale and purchased and antique sewing machine, and found out that the father of the two young girls and the owner of the house passed away last week.
I feel so bad for the family, and I will give the girls their bikes after I tune them up.
I walked in and out of the house too many times to count, and I ended up working in the back yard for a few hours after cleaning up the yard sale.
I'm so excited about today's step count, but I feel every step as I'm trying to write up this report card. I've been up since 4 am this morning , and only stopped to take an old man nap this afternoon.
Thank you, and best wishes from
.
My neighbor scored the Elk antlers from his sister in law.
