So the house that I currently rent from my mom is almost like an organized storage unit for 6 individuals.
My mom and step dad's life is mostly here, and much of furniture and belongings are here.
So we changed our Internet WiFi provider to Frontier today. I needed to move a lot of storage racks and totes to make for an easy installation for the technician.
I ended up doing so much more than what I planned on doing. The weather and temperatures were perfect today.
I spent many hours walking the side of the house and working in the carport. The only time that I really stopped moving today, is when the frontier technician was here.
I also did my usual chores in the back yard. Watering and feeding berry bushes and moving weights around the yard.
I also did several bike repairs and I did a partial bicycle build.
I feel like I did 40,000 steps. My right foot is still giving me grief, but it can manage 29,000 steps. I wouldn't try for much more than today's step count.
I did a solo walk this evening and ended up talking to an upper classmate in the McDonald's drivethru after they called out my name.
I walked the park a few times and then I walked out to the city limit sign.
I actually walked through dd's discounts on the way home to change things up. When I was a kid, that building was the home of Thrifty's.
Back in the 80s my friends and I would ride bicycles through town and always made our way to Thrifty's for a $.15 scoop of ice cream.
Best wishes from
