Many of us have problems with the idli batter.Today I am going to share an idli that is easy to make, rich in protein, so it is good for breakfast. Soak 2 cups of mung beans for 2 hours and grind them with a clove and a little ginger in a mixer.
After kneading, add 4-5 spoons of sour curd, salt and cover it for 30 minutes. If you want, you can fry curry leaves, mustard, cashews etc. in a spoonful of oil and mix. After 30 minutes brush oil in idli maker and steam for 15 minutes. Then it is ready with 5 minutes resting time.
For the chutney, add a handful of chickpeas, a handful of Chinese almonds, curry leaves, green chillies, ginger, garlic and fry them lightly, add coconut flakes, salt, sugar, 1/2 curd and water and mix well. Tomorrow is Sunday, make it for snack.
