Today | Bad news in the rain, another restless afternoon
Although the morning had started with a rainy calm, it seemed like today would be a quiet day. I could hear the sound of wet leaves from the balcony, a calm mood in the air. But who knew that behind this peace was a difficult moment...
It was around 4:30 in the afternoon. Suddenly, my father called. His voice was restless. He said, “Your mother fell from the roof, she was slippery in the rain water.” After hearing this, I couldn’t think of anything else—I rushed home as best I could.
I saw my mother lying down, with an unknown pain in her eyes. I immediately took her to the local hospital. After the X-ray, the doctor’s face became serious—he said, “The bone is broken, we need to refer her to the Sadar Hospital.”
Then another race began—taking her to the Sadar Hospital, getting reports, finding a ward, seeing a doctor, applying plaster… I didn’t realize when evening had fallen.
Mom is home now, resting. There is pain, but I know my mom is strong.
Nevertheless, at this moment, I have only one request to everyone—pray for my mom. May Allah make her recover quickly and completely.
