Spending time with my sisters is never boring. We can think of a thousand things to do and have the best time of our lives. We are very close. I'm thankful that we were raised that way, but as a Filipino it's already engraved to us when we were kids that family always comes first. We help each other out, support each other. And I think that's beautiful.
Here's us just decided to go for a walk after a full day of rain.. I love the cool air after the rain but we didn't realize the flooded parts of the road and that's not a good way to dip our feet in. So we decided to cut our walk short and just head home.
We just made a merienda instead, a home-made banana bread. She mainly did the mixing I just prepared the tray she'll cook it in. I was taking notes too because baking is really not my forte.. a simple flat bread is all I can make and sometimes I still fail at it. I know, it's sad.
We had to cook it for 50 minutes so while waiting I cut up some cardboard for my rescue cat. I named her Coconut and she's obsessed playing inside cardboard boxes so I make sure to save it for her.
It was just a very gloomy day and I know it's gonna be months of days like this.
After almost an hour waiting here is the final product.. a very shiny bread. Freshly made will always be the best.
That's it for me today, til tomorrow! :)
