Drove home today and had a quick stop in Monmouth. This is Monmouth bridge gate tower. I read that construction started around 1272, not sure when they finished it. I'll have to spend more time there one day.
The town had lots of signs and barriers to make social distancing easier but it put me off taking photos. Will be good when we are all back to normal.
