I had the opportunity to visit a major city in Indonesia: Jakarta. I was thrilled to be back in Jakarta after several years without visiting the big city I had once worked for, starting my career in my 20s.
In Jakarta, I chose the commuter train (KRL) as public transportation because of its low fares and the lack of traffic jams. I think it's highly recommended for affordable travel.
I departed from Bogor at Cibinong Station. While waiting for the train, I took some photos around the small station, which was still quiet.
Cibinong Station was quite clean, with several waiting areas. The green plants around it were neatly arranged.
From a distance, I saw a view of the hills, which I found truly beautiful.
I didn't get a seat on the train because the KRL to Jakarta was very crowded, but I thought it was a fun trip, a trip I rarely take.
The sight of tall buildings meant I had arrived in Jakarta, the tall buildings where the warriors worked to earn a living.
In Jakarta, my goal was to meet friends at the Post Office Building, a former post office building that has been converted into a multi-purpose space, including an arts center and culinary center.
The Post Office Building in Jakarta has a classic look. There are many cafes inside. I stopped by one for dinner.
After dinner, I'll head to the Arts Building to enjoy a theater performance.
In this classic and magnificent arts building, I'll enjoy a performance with my friends. Very exciting! Bye for today. Thank you for reading.
