Yes, exactly 2 years ago, I registered my account to play Splinterlands. I can tell you now that first step changed a lot of things. At the time, I had really forgotten everything I really wanted to do. Life was throwing me a bone in the air, and I was catching everything I could. One of those opportunities was Hive.
Looking back, I realize that this is the most important event of these two years. After all, I gradually found cool people here. Until I realized that I found a really cool community to my heart's content. Then I started writing little by little. Until I realized that I had rediscovered myself, really. I remembered in the process everything I wanted to do and everything I wanted to be.
Two years is not a long time. But a lot has been accomplished in the last year. It may not be visible in the lines yet, but I can see it inside my head. Oddly enough, it all started in the head.
Everything starts in the head, anyway.
The social networking on the blockchain POS blew my mind. Does it really work? I went in to check it out, and it worked. And how long has it been working? I found out long enough. Okay, how can I jump in here? Welcome! Read this FAQ for a couple dozen pages first. But that's not all... 😜😂
The funny thing is, the more I read, the more I liked it all. My intuition told me even then that I was here for the long haul. And I wasn't wrong.
Hive is a game within a game of life.
It's a separate city. If you haven't been here, you don't know anything about Hive. If you're local, you're not likely to leave the place.
I've really almost stopped going to web2 and posting unless it involves reposting from Hive. It's here that I've read the most lines in that time. I've written more in this year than I've written in my entire life. I've learned more in these 2 years than I did in the 5 or 10 years before that. The quantity of useful information really goes to quality. And it's happening pretty fast here.
Hive is home.
Hive is absolutely everything if you're looking. Everything you're looking for, if you're in it.

These are drops from the POB:SWAP.BTC liquidity pool. There's not much to say about bitcoin, but I believe in POB. I have taken the risk, and I am ready to get a lot of POB at the end of this journey.
Similarly, I choose each of my liquidity pools on Hive. On top of all that, it's quick entry and quick exit if you want it. I love that DeFi flexibility within Hive!
