When you work and start adulting, the only fun you will have during the weekend is to go for groceries. There are no other fun activities that you can do. We did the same. Cleaned the house, had our lunch and discussed for hours to decide where to go for grocery shopping.
Finally, a nearby Chinese store was the choice. Chinese stores are always good for exotic leafy vegetables which you would not find in other local stores.
We love these stores for that one advantage. We always question the meat quality we find but they are best for leafy vegetables.
A nice family outing at the local grocery store and a detour to a local chai store made our Saturday memorable.
