First train journey since 5th March 2020 down from the Midlands to Horsham. Can't say I enjoyed it. Pleased to be in Horsham, a nice little town with a quaint town centre, lots of narrow lanes to wander along and some interesting architecture, and lovely places to sit and enjoy the sun.
Had a walk around the town, found the museum and a beautiful park, I liked the market Square and the bandstand was very pretty, but my is it expensive keeping fed and watered when you're out and about.
Tried Cote for an evening meal: disappointing. The beignets went in oil that was too hot, the minute steak on a grill that was not hot enough. The sparkling wine was lovely, though.
