Beautiful family wedding on Thursday, enjoyed it so much. The church service was lovely, so much attention to detail. Wonderful to see so many people that I've known since they were born, grown up now and with children and grandchildren of their own.
The reception was in a huge marquee in a field (the slope was slightly disconcerting), with everything laid on, and plenty of room for children to run around. I really enjoyed catching up with everyone and the canapes were great!
I had an extra day, spent enjoying the shops (a fabric and yarn store was closing down), bought a few things, some cotton yarn, cotton jersey in a snakeskin print, a few notions. Although that store is closing, there are others in towns not too far away. After lunch, I went for a walk around Horsham Park and discovered there are other 5km-12km walks in neighbouring villages, all starting and ending at the train station. Good to know for another time.
