A long old day at work - an early morning meeting that I wasn't in the right frame of mind for and was decidedly tetchy 😂. Not my usual style, perhaps happened about ten times in my work history.
Two later meetings that were hard work but productive. One was around funding proposals: good discussion, good outcomes. The second one was more emotionally demanding but also had a good outcome. I was pleased to knock off work, though.
Went out for a lovely early evening autumnal walk. It was dusk and almost dark by the time I got back, and very mild. I went for my favourite walk around the disused running track in the University Sports Ground at the back of the house.
The picture is from Sunday 31 October, about an hour after sunset. It was a very dramatic sky with an awesome sense of majesty.
